Still in its budding phase, Blue View Farm was established by Jen and Grant Anderson in 2020 with the hopes of bringing joy to the community with flowers, produce, and pumpkins. The vision is still developing. The idea is to provide flowers for your own vase or to brighten someone else’s day; produce for your freezer or to add something fresh to your dinner plate, and pumpkins for eating or fall-time decorating.
Jen and Grant were both raised in rural PA and appreciate the lessons learned, character built, and rewards reaped through the hard work that Agriculture offers. Anxious to begin sharing their knowledge with their two small children, together the family plowed and planted several rows of potatoes, sweet corn, peppers, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, kale, spinach, and many varieties of flowers. Each year they look forward to sharing their bounty with family, friends, and neighbors with the overall goal of bringing joy.
