This is a self-paced workshop with open house format. When you arrive, you will select a pumpkin, prep it by removing seeds and slop, add oasis, then arrange flowers to match your style! We will be around to provide step-by-step directions or as much help as needed. Lastly, add twigs, wheat, or ornamental grasses for a finishing touch. No two pumpkins will look alike!
Provided: pumpkin, cutting tools, oasis/water, variety of flowers, finishing touches, and light refreshments. Just bring yourselves!
Note: Each person will leave with one pumpkin arrangement, approximately 8″x 8″ with some larger and smaller options available to fit your vision. It takes about an hour to make one pumpkin. Pumpkins last about 1 week at room temperature and even longer if kept refrigerated. The workshop room is upstairs (no elevator).
The BVF Gift Shop will be open during the workshop times. The shop includes potpourri, dough bowls, goat milk soaps, dried arrangements, lavender, grapevine wreaths, t-shirts, mugs, and more!
